From the West
Take US Highway 17 east to NC Highway 211 and follow into Southport. Turn left on E. West Street a block past the water tower.
From the North
Follow NC Highways 87 or 133 south to NC Highway 211, turn left toward Southport at the GoGas. Turn left on E. West Street a block past the water tower.
From Wilmington via the Ferry
Turn left onto Moore St. (Hwy 211) and follow into town. Turn right on Howe St. (still Hwy 211) at the Waterfront and right on E. West Street at Franklin Square, 3 blocks inland from the waterfront.

Southport -- Fort Fischer Ferry Schedule

The scenic Southport - Fort Fisher Ferry across the
Cape Fear River is a car ferry with crossing time of 25
minutes. Car fare is $3.00 one way. The Fort Fisher
landing is located approximately 19 miles south of
Wilmington on NC Hwy. 421. The Southport landing is
located approximately 2 miles north of Southport on NC
Hwy. 211 (Moore Street).
